What We Handle
What Determines the Outcome
UAE banks differ sharply in appetite. A profile that one declines without discussion, another onboards routinely. Choosing where to apply is the largest single factor — decided before anything is submitted.
Two distinct questions, frequently answered as one. Where the money for this transaction came from is not the same as how the wealth was built. Both require documentary support, not assertion.
Why does this company need a UAE account? A file that answers with evidence — contracts, invoices, a customer base, a supply chain — proceeds. One that answers with intention does not.
The activity on the licence, the business described, the counterparties named and the expected turnover must agree. Most refusals we see are triggered by an inconsistency the applicant never noticed.
A file that arrives complete is assessed. A file supplemented over weeks tends to be declined, because it reads as a moving target.
If You Have Already Been Refused
A refusal by one institution is not a market-wide outcome, and it is not usually permanent. We reconstruct what was submitted, identify what the compliance team most likely objected to, and rebuild the application for an institution whose appetite fits the profile. In many cases the underlying business was always bankable and the original submission simply failed to demonstrate it.
What we will not do is resubmit the same file to a different bank and hope. That produces a second refusal and a pattern.
Tell Us Your CaseWhat We Need
Where corporate documents originate abroad, they generally require attestation and legal translation — which we handle in-house.
More about documents attestation →Where It Goes Wrong
Multiple simultaneous applications produce multiple records and no useful information. Declines are visible.
Applicants minimise complexity hoping to simplify approval. Compliance teams discover the complexity later and treat the omission as the problem.
Banking constraints should influence the choice of jurisdiction and activity, not be discovered afterwards.
A relationship helps a good file get read sooner. It does not make a weak file bankable.
Questions
How long does account opening take?
It depends on the institution and the complexity of the profile. A straightforward UAE company with resident shareholders and a clear activity is measured in weeks; a layered structure with non-resident owners and cross-border flows takes longer, mostly in compliance review rather than paperwork.
Do I need to be a UAE resident?
Not always, but residency materially widens the options and improves the terms. Non-resident structures can be banked, with a stronger file.
Can the account be opened remotely?
Some institutions permit it; many require the signatory to attend in person at least once. We confirm the requirement before selecting the bank rather than after.
Can you guarantee approval?
No, and nobody can — the decision belongs to the bank. What is within our control is which institution receives the application and what it contains. Where we do not believe a profile is bankable as presented, we say so at the outset.
What if my business involves digital assets?
It narrows the field considerably but does not eliminate it. The treatment depends on the activity, the licence held, and the counterparties involved.
